Screenshots, finished.
The screenshot mockup generator for launch posts, docs and App Store pages. Paste a screenshot or a URL, pick a preset, export a device mockup, a code image or a clean tweet screenshot. Nothing leaves your browser.
How it works
01
Paste
A screenshot from your clipboard, a file, or any URL we capture for you.
02
Pick a preset
Twelve curated presets. Backgrounds, frames and shadows tuned to work together.
03
Export
High-resolution PNG, or straight to your clipboard. Ready for X, Product Hunt, your README.
Device mockups
Your screenshot, on the real thing.
iPhone, iPad, MacBook and Apple Watch frames drawn as vectors, so bezels stay crisp at any export size. Drop a screen in, pick a preset, export for the App Store, a landing page or a launch post.
Code screenshots
Code that looks as good as it runs.
Paste a snippet, pick one of nineteen editor themes and sixteen languages, add a window frame and line numbers, and export a code image for a tweet, a README or a slide.
export async function shot(url: string) {const res = await fetch("/api/v1/screenshot", {method: "POST",body: JSON.stringify({ url, look: "midnight" }),});return res.blob();}

Post screenshots
Any post, as a clean image.
Paste a link from X, Reddit, Bluesky or YouTube and get a brand-accurate screenshot of the post, without the chrome, ready to quote in a newsletter, a deck or a thread. Or build a mock tweet, a LinkedIn post, a testimonial, a QR code from a template.

API and MCP
Screenshots for agents, scripts and pipelines.
One request turns a URL into a finished mockup: captured headlessly at 2×, cookie banners removed, framed and placed on a background that matches the site's own colors. Ask for a package and you get the whole set: a Product Hunt gallery, App Store screenshots, a launch kit in every social size. The MCP server ships an agent skill, so an assistant knows how to produce the complete set, not one image.
How to use it
curl -X POST https://dropashot.com/api/v1/screenshot \
-H "Authorization: Bearer das_live_…" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"url":"https://stripe.com","look":"midnight","title":"stripe.com"}' \
--output shot.pngOr give your assistant the MCP server
{ "mcpServers": { "dropashot": {
"command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "dropashot-mcp"],
"env": { "DROPASHOT_API_KEY": "das_live_…" } } } }Claude, Cursor and any MCP client get screenshot_url, screenshot_package and brand_colors, plus playbook prompts for a Product Hunt gallery, App Store screenshots and a launch kit.
